During these tough economic times, Andrew’s opponent has authored bills to start taxing clothing, to increase the sales tax, to increase deed and mortgage taxes in Anoka County, AND voted to raise the gas tax, to jack up license tab fees, and even to raise income taxes. Andrew has a novel idea—it’s called reduce taxes, and control spending!
Andrew will tackle the real bread and butter issues impacting working families in the northern suburbs, not tax the shirt off your back.
Andrew is sick and tired of suburban taxpayers being abused as ATMs to fund endless projects and services in Minneapolis and St. Paul. It’s time to address OUR needs, like Highway 610.
Andrew will do everything in his power to stop state and local governments from turning your neighborhood into a slum.
Andrew feels that it is unfair for students in Minneapolis & St. Paul school districts to receive thousands more per pupil in state funding than students in the Anoka-Hennepin and Osseo school districts, and will not support an education bill unless it dramatically reduces this disparity.
